What Would You Do With 3.5 Billion?

Easy, I'd buy 171 MacBook Pro's and give 170 to my school for every student and faculty member. I'd get a big ol' semi with the macbooks inside, pull it up to the front door, waltz into the office, get on the P.A. system, tell everyone to go to the parking lot behind the truck and open her up. I'd personally hand each one out to everyone. The 1 left over will be mine! Then I'd give all of my friends Power Mac Quads w/ 30 inch displays. Then buy me a big house in Cupertino, buy a load of Apple stock, get on the Board of Directors, and, lastly, build a new building for said school. It's old, and they could use a new building.
Sort out a few friends' money problems and the give most of it away to carefully selected charities. I don't need it and don't deserve it.
That amount of money is off no use to any one person, its insane! 1st off i'd take care of myself and my family. I'd build myself a nice house and buy an Aston Martin DB9. After that a nice mac, tv etc.
When thats done however, i still have 3+billion that i'd never use.
I suppose i'd buy some property to generate a sizeable source of constant income and after that i'd give all of whats left away.
That way i can still go about my daily life working but at the same time have a generous income so i can travel etc.
Investing all 3.5 billion just to get interest is insane cos that interest alone is more than some people in the world would make in a lifetime.
Give it all away to selected charities i say!

Buy All Rights to Star Trek from Viacom and CBS

Become a Macintosh Advocate on TV
Start my own TV Network
Start a Department Store Chain (T. Eston Gill's)
Buy the Rights to Red Dwarf, and Finally start production on the Movie. Also get the British Actors to work on an International (i.e. USA) version that follows true seasons with 20-26 episodes per year.
Form an NHL team in Seattle, WA
Buy large sections of Detroit and Flint, MI that have been abandoned. Convert large portions of these areas into park land, convert others into high-quality low-cost housing, schools, Commercial, High-Tech, and Recreational areas. Convince major US companies that moving jobs to DET/FNT would be cheaper for the company and benificial to the national economy (not to mention helping those that have been screwed by the system). Would later do the same to other 'down trodden' cities throughout the US and Canada.
