I also got a weird number for U.S., but got £141 for CDN$300.
If he's putting the $ on the end, and is still dealing with dollars, there's a good chance he's Quebecois.
I would go for a master's or doctor's degree, while I am on the contract work term with my current company. The 300 grands will be enough to weather through the graduate degree.

I would save that money for my Inter Rail trip around Europe this Summer. I always work during the Summer, this year I want to enjoy myself.
At one time, $300 seemed like very little money, but since this scary recession, it pays off bills or is good emergency money.
But if there was no recession, I would probably buy something fun with it. There are a lot of great sales in goods and services right now and $300 dollars has almost double the buying power that it did just two years ago. I can't really think like there's no recession so my mind is drawing a blank.

This could go well in a Savings Account. I'm 21 and having a spare $300 just in case is a really good idea, specially in this economy.
I would sort them by type family, typeface and type size. I would probably give away some of the duplicates.
