So what do I do guys? I don't want a replacement phone.. The pixel is noticeable when looking for it, but then again I had the phone for three weeks before finding it.. Now it's easy to spot
Sorry but that's what you get for obsessive behavior. You were happy enough a little while ago before looking for issues.

i still recommend a genius bar appointment if you live near an apple store and show it to them.

I'd exchange it. If you're like me, once you see a dead pixel, you can never un-see it. Sucky part is that you may have to keep exchanging to get an acceptable unit. It's the iPhone lottery and a lot of us have to play it :(

Go in and ask. If they say they want to swap your phone out you can always refuse the replacement.

What happens when you go to sell it and someone asks you if it has any defects or problems.
Do yourself a really big favour and return it and get a new one. These phones are expensive and supposed to be the Hallmark of phones.

Bought my 6 Plus about 20 days ago. Everything is perfect cosmetically and functionally and the screen uniformity is 100%.

I downloaded the dead pixel spotter app the other day and noticed that I have a dead pixel near the center of my screen on two colours (red and green). It's not terribly noticeable but now I notice it if I look for it depending on the image on my screen.

Should I go to apple and ask for a screen replacement or am I asking for trouble?

I just sent my iphone 6 in because I had two darkish spots in the upper center of my screen and I noticed them almost right away when scrolling through pages with white backgrounds. I figured I should do something right away because it was already driving me nuts! I've never had this problem before on any of my idevices. So I talked to a apple support guy and he they sent me a box to send it to them in without any questions asked. He was just going to send me a replacement right away but I didn't have the funds needed to freeze in the meantime till I sent them my shotty device. My wife looked at my screen and thought I was nuts and have really bad OCD! Lol probably a little but I really don't want to look at the terrible uniformity on my screen for the next 2 years!! Apple should have my phone Monday to look at. I'm a little nervous I might get a call and they'll say they don't see a problem... Has anyone ever had that happen? I just want a phone with great uniformity. Oh and to address the dead pixel I had one in the very bottom corner of my i5 but I lived with it. If it was in the center it would drive me insane! Have a good one. Good luck!
