depends on if the genes are from your mother or father.

The father's genes tend to keep phones more dry

Thanks, just bought some ziploc bags. Out of interest, slightly off topic but what is credit card acceptance like in the Disney Parks (Sea world ones as well)? Does pretty much everywhere take card? (Specifically a British American Express card in my case).

You should be able to use your card wherever you go. I would suggest that you have some cash, though. You never know when you might need it.

NOTE: If you are staying at a Disney resort, you can use the "Key to the Magic" perk. Most concession stands etc will just take your room key as a method of payment. Quite convenient. Used this a lot on our last visit.

However, some cash is always good to carry.

some of the really small stands can only take cash and if you want to play any of the games in the parks or feed the dolphins, rays etc at SeaWorld your going to need a little cash. other then that you can use ur card every where else, just make sure u carry ID with you as well.

I also suggest, because of the high humidity, to bring a small sweat rag to wipe yourself. I went in September, and boy was it HOT & HUMID.

Thanks, Will have some cash but noticed the exchange rate was far better on my Amex than it was to change pounds into US dollars. I'm going to assume American Express acceptance is pretty good in Florida, considering it is America. Amex acceptance can be a little patchy in the UK. Glad to see most places accept it. You guys still have to show ID? Seems rather odd, I haven't had to do that in 10 years.

Not sure if somebody has mentioned this, but there is a website called Liquipel (sp?) which makes your phone waterproof as long as you're not scuba diving

Not sure of the cost or how long it takes though.

Not sure why you would though? You could get a decent Canon P&S and underwater housing for about the same money, that would take much better shots!

being that ur not from the US id recommend bringing it with you. i was asked for mine when overseas and using a credit card. Esp if you want to buy beer or cig's. better to have it with you and not need it then to need it and not have it with you.
