500GB HDD and 8GB of RAM

I really have to change my sig now. (as you can see i use to have the 2009 13" MacBook Pro)

Early 2011:

2.2GHz Intel i7 Quad-core
8GB RAM
750GB HD
15" Glossy hi-res

Have had a 2006, late 2008 and now this one. However, thinking of a MBA for my next one 2-3 years later.

First post after lurking for a long time!

I have a mid-2009 13" MacBook Pro, still looks and runs as perfectly as the day I got it 2 years ago this month. I love the new Airs but can't really justify upgrading at this point. I think an SSD upgrade will keep it 'fresh' to me for years to come.

2010
2.4GHz Core 2 Duo
4GB Ram
250GB Hard Drive
Nvidia 320m with 256MB shared memory.
13" display

Bought it refurbished from the Apple online store for about $929 when the 2011 models came out, great little machine for everyday internet use and general online gaming like Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike, Minecraft, etc. I might upgrade the RAM to 8GB sometime and maybe buy an SSD when it starts to feel slow.

I have a late 2008 15" MBP. It's still a great computer, no real problems with it. I'll hopefully be getting an iMac or MacPro within the next year, but will still be keeping my handy MBP for traveling.

Just wondering who is running the latest and greatest from Mr. Jobs and who is staying with the classics.

I got a 2009 13", if you guys want you can throw down a benchmark or specs below.

For my needs, upgrading to 2011 was worth it. Otherwise I'd have kept my 2009 model and be happy.

I'm typing this from my 2011 MacBook Pro. Can't wait for my 8GB RAM kit to come this week, as in hopefully tomorrow :D

By then the "leaked" MBP will be the size of the Air

Mid-2010 15" High-res AG, 2.6ghz i7, 8 GB RAM, 120GB SSD, 500GB stock hard drive. Just did my upgrades, and will keep this baby at the very least until I see what the 2012 models are like. That reminds me, I need to update my signature.

Do you have the Optical Drive out for the other drive?
