Excuuuuuuuuse me for using your precious board. Sorry I was sooooooo stupid not to use the search box. I promise I'll never let it happen again AH

I'm more annoyed that you couldn't take 2 seconds to figure it out yourself, but hey, that's just me.

Since the "one of the iPhone's speakers isn't working" thread is stickied, this should be too IMO.

If it'll stop people asking the same questions, surely it's worth it?

I love when people are too lazy to do something themselves, but not lazy enough to log in, write a post, post it, then wait for the responses.

Time to find a flashlight or lighter in your house - less than a minute

waiting for answers -10 minutes. Good thing you saved yourself the time.

Actually if you had enough sense to check the post and reply times, you'd realize that I received about 5 replies within a few minutes. So next time keep your snarky comments to yourself db

Right, because god forbid we clutter the forum with threads like these, as opposed to the 9001 "I'm mad at Apple over the antenna issue" threads. Those were REAL productive, right?

Here's something else to ponder: In the time it takes to write "Mroogle it and you'll find a response," you could have actually answered the person's question. Instead, you've polluted the search results. Before long, "mroogling" any iPhone issue will just pull up a bunch of search results that tell you to "mroogle" it, as opposed to an actual, useful answer.

As opposed to not doing anything about it? A few of this board's members take it upon themselves to 'educate' others about search to reduce all the duplicate threads. Unfortunately, it's a losing cause because they're preaching to one time posters.

A small problem in a large quantity is a large problem.

Give me a ***** break. Maybe you should leave the "educating" to the moderators. You just respond to the posts that you have answers to and stop trying to"educate" the users that you somehow feel superior to because you apparently know the correct way of using this forum.

I agree +1.
