What's coming out on Wednesday on Steam?

America as well, because I thought about downloading it, but I didn't because my MPB 13" graphics card didn't meet specs.
I'll be honest guys, I love CS. I'd like to see CS:S released. (DoD:S would be nice, as well) I have also heard TF2 is good, never played it though. Maybe if there is another good deal on mac release, like a few other games...
CS:S is likely to be released when they finish the beta for CS:S update, the one that updates the engine behind CS:S to TF2 engine.
They're updating the engine too? I thought it was all cosmetic! This makes me smile.
I'm hoping for TF2 too.. Maybe (though its not Valve) Killing Floor will reappear on the games list again too, it seems to be in a similar beta state as TF2.
Wantwantwant.. Just a L4D-fest would make me happy though. Valve are lucky to have a lineup that consists entirely of excellent games. Really doesn't matter what they release it'll be the best osX game since.. Err.. Portal?
Agree with you that L4D would be great to get tomorrow. That is one of the reasons I decided to go back to PC games. I have a PS3 and because Valve (well Gabe) hates the PS3, the Mac release is the only way I'm going to be able to play it (I don't dual-boot anymore as its not worth it for an hour of gaming).
Already was, I'm pretty sure. We'll see a new heading under "news" when they roll out the update, more than likely.

I'm hoping for the Orange Box. Although I want to get HL, HL2, CS, TF2, and L4D, so it almost doesn't matter which of them is this week. Lots of good stuff to look forward to!

I'm not totally sure *why*, but it, and at least one other game are (or were recently) in beta.
It'll appear when it's available. Killing Floor is the same, I managed to download a bit of it before it disappeared but it's not actually out yet so it's no surprise.
Hopefully they'll be live tonight, but that's wishful thinking!
I don't think the Steam launch was until the middle of the day last Wednesday, so it's probably going to be during American business hours. Probably a good thing they didn't release them right at midnight - maybe I'll go to sleep instead of staying up all night with new games!
I think it all kicked off around 5pm GMT so we've got around 6 hours left.
Had the weirdest dream too and part of it involved opening my Macbook to find TF2 was playable.

Richy, the new games are released every wednesday at around 5pm GMT (or 10am in Valve-land). We don't know what games are being released or when the CS beta will be finished and available to all players.

I'm abit like this too. I have my preferences but at the same time, any of Valve's back catalogue are going to be welcome additions to the library, so bring on todays update whatever games it brings with it.
Another 1 or 2 Valve games plus another stockpile of indie/older games at decent prices would be another good update I think.
Depends on who you ask. It was available to some but they couldn't play it, it wasn't even available to download for others. It's working like a charm now. All 3 expansion packs are available too.
