Who INVENTED phones(and cars, airplanes, computers...ELECTRICITY)?? Americans ALL....

Wikipedia said:
Guglielmo Marconi's proponents say that while on vacation in 1894 he read about the experiments that Hertz did in the 1880s, and about Nikola Tesla's work in the just-published book Inventions, Researches and Writings of Nikola Tesla. It was at this time that Marconi began to understand that radio waves could be used for wireless communications.

how bout this, apple wanted to sell phones, so they made an iphone and sold it for 600. two months later they dropped the price and sold even more. Now they add 3g and whoa, they sell even more again. Its pretty simple didnt add 3g so they could add it and sell even more...oh and ya then they could see it outside the us better...but sidenote.

So could we keep the discussion OFF Race, National Heritage, Religion, or Politics on which nobody agrees anyways?

I think that the old one won't be available anymore (already), and THAT will fuel the 3G unit sales as the App store opens up for the best UI out there!

Car: The Otto-Engine was invented by Nikolaus Otto (Germany)

Phone: Invented by Samuel Finley Morse (USA)

Airplanes: Brothers Wright, but there were many other nationalities behind its development

Computers: First computers were build in Europe and don't forget the genius from Zurich (Switzerland) who invented several computer languages and other stuff...

Electricity: Alessandro Volta (Italy), Charles Augustin de Coulomb (France), Michael Faraday (Gread Britain), Heinrich Rudolf Hertz (Germany), Thomas Alva Edison (America)

So please don't generalize everything... you had/have got your geniuses and we've got ours...
