I find the calendar handy as I can see the date on the home screen on another page.

I just realized I have gone a whole lot more folder-y on my iPhone than I have bothered to do with the iPad.
With my iPad, every time I pick the thing up, I am just so eager to use it that I still can't be bothered to finish the setup properly.
With the iPhone I remember that I was thrilled when foldering came out. Immediately I wanted stuff in groups so I didn't have to peer at so many little icons. But, I still have only single items in its dock.
