I hate having things in my pockets; which i've just come to realize.

On a daily basis i'll carry my android cell phone, wallet, keys, chapstick, little pen and small moleskine notebook.

And it bugs the hell out of me. Mentally, perhaps in reality too, I feel it weighs down my jeans on a daily basis. I would lLOVE to not have anything in my pockets being a guy but seems a bit far fetched, don't you think?

I'm 22, and used to work at a Verizon mobile store where I would see on a daily basis the guys that carry their phones in holsters, and thought it was the ugliest thing in the world. My female co-workers agreed, with one girl, saying the holster was the guy wearing a bluetooth on him the whole...you know, one of those guys...

Sorry, didn't mean to rant and pick on the guys that wear holsters and bluetooths all day long but just sayin' theres no way i'd wear a holster...not even a leather limited edition Eddie Bauer one.

But the dilemma remains: I hate having things in my pockets.

Sometimes I dream of a perfect world where the only thing needed to have with me at all times is my cell phone (iPhone 5 on Verizon) and some chapstick. No need for a wallet cause we all know the iPhone will eventually take care of that too. .... iono...perhaps i'm ranting considering today just pissed me off carrying all this crap in my pockets..

But nevertheless figured i'd ask the community here what is in their pockets throughout the day; subtly hoping i'm not alone and seeking out some kick ass solutions.

I like to travel around with my aluminum Apple Remote. People always ask me what kind of iPod it is.

I usually have my wallet in my back left pocket, my keys in my front left pocket, and my phone in my front right pocket. I too, prefer empty pockets.

Pen, iPhone, cards, iPhone headphones, hand(s) ;), ~$5 in cash, keys, USB flash drive. This is the usual. But sometimes I carry a lot more. I wear either jeans or cargo shorts.

For me Wallet, Cell phone, Keys.

I some times carry a mechanical pencil in my pocket.

As for a hip holster for my cell phone. I own one and use it from time to time if I am going to be out for a while. Mostly because it gets one less thing in my pocket. When I am using it I normally just pull my shirt over it so it is not easy to tell that I have it on.

I have a phone sometimes, but very rarely, and maybe some keys as well. Other than that, not really anything else.

Can I just say that your recent threads have been awesome, HappyDude :)

iPhone in my left pocket. Right pocket: gum, pen, and one key in the pocket, the rest hanging outside of it. Or the keys are in the messenger with my wallet.

You know what befuddles me?

That in this thread most people say they keep their phone in their right front pocket....

...!

Personally mine is always in my left front pocket.

But maybe thats cause i'm left handed.

Phone, pedometer.
Last week I was sampling aftershaves in Boots. Rather than binning some Hugo Boss one I kept it in my pocket. Now my phone smells of Hugo Boss.

I hate a lot of stuff in my pocket, so I carry keys, money (no coins) and my droid x. The wallet goes in my back pocket and its been there so long, I don't even notice it.

Anything more, feels like I'm being weighed down.

Phone in my right pocket, wallet and headphones in my left. Also gum goes in the left if I have any.

No need for keys as there's no way for me to get home other than get picked up (can't drive yet and buses go at stupid times) otherwise I'd have to walk for an hour or two on dangerously busy back roads.

Left Front: phone, St. Michael medallion
Right front: usb drive, office key
left rear: wallet, pen
right rear: empty

And like the OP, I am left handed.
