I like that Scottevest. Usually I wear cargo shorts that have a slit behind one of the front pockets. My iPhone slides in perfectly and leaves me plenty of pockets if I need them. I also carry a set of keys, a hanky and a wallet. When I'm working, I wear jeans and carry an extra set of keys. I also wear a shirt with a pocket, which is where my iPhone goes.

Left pocket: keys, handkerchief, Oyster card
Right pocket: iPhone, money (if I have any at the time)
I am left handed, but I keep my phone in my right pocket. Who knows why. I don't really like having it in my pants pocket, so if I'm wearing a shirt with a pocket I'll usually stick my phone in there...

Travelling to work: wallet, phone, gum. Everything else goes in my Freitag.

At work: lint.

Always keys, wallet and iPhone. Sometimes a pass to get into customer premises, and usually also some loose change.

Wallet left, phone right, keys in back pocket on right. Lefty here too, so it looks like it's just a personal preference OP. I've gotten pretty quick with whipping out my phone on the right side. :)

Right Front: Wallet, Keys (on keychain attached to belt loop and dangling in pocket)
Left Front: Phone, Comb, Glorious Cigs, Purell (occasionally if going to bar, party, or any place with a lot of drinking and likely little hand washing after the results of a lot of drinking:eek:)
Right Rear: Lighter
Left Rear: Change (occasionally)

I am right handed. I suppose I keep my cell phone in my left pocket as my wallet has always been in my right, well before I owned a cellphone.

Wallet - front left, keys, change, USB flash attached to Swiss minichamp - front right and leatherman right rear (until it wears a hole in pocket then left rear). Phone in shirt pocket or left jacket pocket.
I like pockets, usually pick a coat or jacket with as many pockets as possible.

front left - earbuds, keys and small cleaning cloth

front right - phone

back right - usually nothing or whatever the girlfriend gives me to carry

back left - wallet

You know what befuddles me?

That in this thread most people say they keep their phone in their right front pocket....

...!

Personally mine is always in my left front pocket.

But maybe thats cause i'm left handed.

Well I left out how I kept mine exactly. I am right handed. My keys are kept in my right pocket and my phone is kept in my left pocket. Now if I am using my hip-holster the holster is on my right side.
Wallet is kept in my back right pocket. If I am carry a mechanical pencil or a pen it is in my right pocket.

On a normal work day...

Left pocket: iPhone
Left rear pocket: Wallet
Right pocket: iPod, spare change I get throughout the day, anything else I collect throughout the day.
Right rear pocket: I have my keys on a carbinger that I hook on the belt loop right above the right rear pocket. I don't let the keys hang, so I stuff them here. If I'm skateboarding at a spot or a skatepark, usually my iPod goes here. Also anything else I might collect throughout the day.

Left side: wallet (or moneyclip) and keys.
Right side: phone and handkerchief.

Left front pocket - iPhone
Left rear pocket - wallet
Right front pocket - keys, change, pen, flashdrive
Right rear pocket - nothing

Left front: keys
Right front: phone
Left rear: wallet
Right rear: world's tiniest open-source violin

I'm right handed, but I keep my phone in my left front pocket. The main reason for this is that my keys are in my right front pocket and I don't want the phone to get scratched on them.

Back pockets meanwhile are where change and my bus ticket can be found, while the watch pocket is where money of a paper nature is kept.
