Hey all,

I recently replaced my work iPhone 6s with an iPhone 11. I couldn’t remember the AppleId password for my work email (and couldn’t afford to wait 2 weeks for Apple to unlock), so I signed up the phone to my “main” Apple ID - i.e. the one I’m signed up to on all my personal devices.

My personal phone is an iPhone 12 Pro, and since I set up my work phone, I get the message “what’s next for this iPhone?” popping up occasionally, with prompts to erase data and get it ready for recycling.

I have no intention of selling my personal phone for at least another year. Is there a way to “tell” the phone this to stop these prompts?

So you signed in your new iPhone 11 to the same account as your iPhone 12 Pro? That shouldn't be an issue; unless you used the migrate feature.
