SO is watching Legend of Korra on Amazon - I'm not really paying attention.

Love it.

----------

My all time favorite show.

I agree, this is one of my favorite shows as well.

I'm not sure if any of you have watched it, but Black Sails finished its 2nd season and it was insanely great. Just amazing. I've always liked pirates so I might be a tad biased, but still that show is awesome. Also in my opinion Game of Thrones has really jumped the shark now. Show is awfully boring.

Series finale of Justified on tonight. Holy smokes, this season has been a master class in writing, dialog, acting, directing - nearly perfect.

Easily in my top 5 series of all time (at least hour long dramas), probably in my top 3, depending on how it ends, it may take the number 1 spot. Even other series I hold in pretty high esteem like The Sopranos, had some questionable character shifts, off-the-rails plot points that were dead ends.

The use of language is just _amazing_, it's layered, complex, it's beautiful Southern Gothic prose, it really captures Elmore Leonard.

Opening a bottle of Four Roses small batch and enjoying 😎

My wife decided to bing watch Turn Season 1 last night. I made it through about 8 episodes before calling it a night. It's watchable, but I did not fall in love with it. When Season 2 starts soon, I'll be watching with her at a more reasonable pace.

I'm somewhat peeved that HBO Now is primarily available on Apple TV. I have a Roku and Amazon Prime movies are overall less expensive... I know not to expect any sympathy. 😉

I'm really enjoying the current seasons of HBO's Veep and Silicon Valley.

Not since the golden years of NBC's Thursday nights (Friends, Seinfeld, LA Law, etc.) - has one night of the week really been so well stocked with quality programs.

I'm especially enamored with Silicon Valley. I'm not sure exactly how close it comes to capturing the real experience of Silicon Valley startups, but it has a great cast, fantastic dialog, and some truly laugh-out-loud moments.

I'm glad that they kept up the intensity of the end of last season. The first 2-3 episodes dragged a bit, but the payoff at the end of the season was well worth sticking with it!

I'm a big fan too - heck, I was looking forward to the new season as much as GOT 😀

It does an incredible job of mixing in a real tech/startup vibe with completely absurd humor, and the really funny thing is - if you haven't ever experienced The Valley - some of the funniest, most ridiculous stuff is all to true.

😎

"Get behind me devil, get behind me devil....."
In my top 5 of all time.
Loved the final verbal spar between Raylan and Boyd.

Yep, I completely agree. The Justified series finale was excellent. I'm going to miss the show.

How far along are you? I've seen the first three episodes, and it definitely captures the grittyness of the comics from the '90s. Loving it so far.

2 episodes... Good fights. I appreciate he has to work at them. 🙂

Update: 4 episodes...
