In my experience, the only thing widgets are good for is photos.

I agree on the Photos widget; we have years of photos, and sometimes it pulls up some great memories.

I use a few others that are good for a quick glance, like weather and calendar. But otherwise haven't seen anything practical with most of them.

"I use the app 'moolaku', 'muluku'? I don't know how to say it, but I'm going to proceed with not even showing you the the app and make you guess if you want to use it too"

The person who posted this video should have included links from the youtube page.

And the guy in the video should do a LITTLE research on how to pronounce the things he is going to be saying...

You make a video about ways to change the homescreen primarily using 3rd party software and sources.. and you don't include any links, or even theirs names?? Wow.

ESPECIALLY the one that you even comment about not knowing how to pronounce...? Seriously?

AT LEAST list them, but really have links for them. (so annoying)

and for any future "editorial" work.. Provide a link, and maybe do a LITTLE research and see how the names are actually pronounced. That little effort would have gone a long way.

I haven't tried out widgets yet, but based on some screenshots shared I just might. I took the background image with iPhone 7 Plus while in Venice, Italy in 2018.

This is a senseless question, iOS is barely customizable.
All screens looks equal to me, except for icons sorting, wallpaper and 1-3 widgets.

I recognize we're in the midst of a pandemic, but looking through everyone's home screens made me realize that I have a very dull life! I'm going to try out more widget apps and also include photos! I'll aim for TOTAL cuteness like Shanghaichica's first screen but I can't beat that! 🙀

It's an iPhone SE (2nd Gen, 2020): horrible timing - I bought it as a replacement for my giant iPhone 11 Pro Max six weeks before the iPhone 12 mini was announced! I thought I was supposed to get SMARTER as I got older?!

Mine's pretty utilitarian. The widget stack in the middle rotates between Drafts and Things. The Misc. folder is almost entirely communications apps plus Maps and Milk for Us. Everything else I access through search or the App Library.
