This is an extremely piano nerd thing to talk about, but this circled chord (Bm/A—there’s an F sharp in the key signature) spread across the keyboard sounds SO cool. Was just working on this accompaniment (Desenclos Aria et Rondo) and found this passage especially interesting. I don’t really know why—I think it has to do with how it moves in general. Worth listening to a recording of it if you want to get an idea of how it sounds.

Tea is on my mind. And cereal. I miss them both. Especially at breakfast. I’m not really wanting black coffee to start my day. It’s not even good coffee.

But a decent mug of tea? I’d pay good money for one of those. Have to wait for Monday though.

Take your own tea. 🙂 Most hotel rooms can provide a kettle to boil some water.

And yes, French coffee — especially with UHT milk — can be variable.
