What’s on your mind?

I look forward to the approach of fall ONLY in the southwest where it's been well over 100 degrees pretty much all summer. I do NOT look forward to it in Wisconsin, as come Daylight Savings, we'll really only be getting 8 hours max of daylight. And it'll be very cold, too.

Oh yea, I can agree completely with this. I actually love spring and fall here in Switzerland. Winter is only good when you get up into the mountains with the pristine white snow and crisp air and sunshine. but the sunshine doesn't last long. I still prefer warmer weather though.

Oh just heard from a former student from spring 25 who is Nepalese and who we sent a message of sympathy and hope for him and his family. Just heard they are all ok and live far from the affected area. This is a relief and a small light.

Day off. Up at 7.30. Read for a while and had coffee. Then out for a walk and bought paper, ham and some meatballs. Back home did some exercises then had a shave and shower. More reading and another coffee before getting dressed. Then read the paper. And now, it's 11 and what do now? I'm not good at being off work....!
