I hear there's a Mr. Clean Time Travel Magic Eraser version about to be released. 😜
I got one (in the future, obviously) and can say that it works well, or even a little too well. I accidentally erased the release of the product in this timeline. In fact, my recollection of the event is rapidly fading, as are written records referring to it.

Wonderful, wonderful! Thank you for sharing!
When you used the noun 'moon" with a reference to your cat/god/master in the same sentence, there was only one possible appropriate response.

Delighted to share this with you: And, what a wonderful - and apt - poem: And Yeats (a brilliant poet) also clearly knew his cat "alone, important and wise" very, very, well, and had observed him closely.

Travel is on my mind, as I leave on a week-long trip to the Front Range of Colorado tomorrow morning in the wee hours, to visit family.

I used to commute between the east coast and Colorado every two weeks; 10 days on, four days off, so the whole thing was fairly routine. That was five years ago. Since then, my air travel has dropped to once or twice a year at most, and not at all for the past two years.

Preparation is more involved, because I’m actually having to think about what I’ll need during the week. Plus, it’s Fall and the weather in Colorado can range from the 80s F or so to the 40s. Snow in the higher elevations would not be that unusual. I plan to do at least some hiking, and maybe get into the alpine tundra to experience that wonderful combination of spectacular vistas, fascinating microenvironments, and altitude-induced hypoxia. A Rocky Mountain High 🏔

To aid my less than stellar memory, I’m using the Packing Pro app, which is pretty darned good. Of course now there are a few new items to remember, such as my vaccination card, masks, hand sanitizer, and disinfectant wipes (for the one night I’ll spend in a hotel). 😷

Not looking forward to being confined to a seat and surrounded by my fellow travelers for the flight across the country, but it‘s too far to drive in the time available. That said, my experience has been that I almost always meet some interesting people and learn a thing or two from them in the process. We’ll see how this trip goes.

Glad Crosby can finally redeem himself, fans can be brutal.

never thought I’d see Watt leave Texas but he must be happy with how the cardinals have done so far and his chances at a ring finally.

I hope trey doesn’t become the next kaep and did they really just compare him to manning (Peyton not Eli).

I couldn't sleep, so I got up and made a large mug of hot milk, with Milo. Guaranteed soporific, and it worked.
However, all that fluid works its way through the pipes of the body, and lets you know, in the early hours of the morn, that relief needs to be sought.

I get up, only to be greeted by the springtime hormone-driven dawn chorus of little birdies. Now, you might be tempted to think that they are all happily chirping and chattering away to each other, exchanging greetings, good wishes and the like, all in happy little cheeps.

Not so.

The bulk of the cheeping is actually one birdie saying to another "This is MY branch, bugger off and go find your own, before I give you a Glaswegian Kiss!".
The rest is young males saying "Oi, Darlin', whatcha doin' with that old codger? Come over here and let a real man show you a good time."

Springtime is just testosterone-fuelled angst...

Well glad you are enjoying spring, longer days and the like. Today is a glorious crisp autumn day and my train ride this morning showed wonderful vistas of the Alps (on my right) and Jura mountains (on my left). A bit of cloud so I could not see the Mt. Blanc but still cine view of the lake.

Oh for a photo of this!

It was a very long day. Got up before 5. Didn’t get home until late. Apart from extra work I’ve got to catch up with, looks like I’ll also be going in on Sunday to complete a warehouse move.

Thinking of reading Dune by Frank Herbert before watching the new film.

Now, all I have to do is find it in my bookshelf. It was, originally, 20 some years ago, sorted alphabetically by author. It's not any more, and most of the shelves are two layers thick. The book is in there, somewhere. I know, it's calling to me.

"Here, booky, booky, here booky, come to daddy."

It’s time for me to reread Dune as well. Great book…horrible movie…I was crushed when I saw it so many years ago. Hoping for a better version of movie this time.

I can't take the original Dune movie seriously after Portlandia ...

Well snapping a photo on the train can be tricky even with a DSLR - still I can try to get a few pics as the town I work in, Nyon, has nice vewis of both ranges.
