Some days when I had enough encounters with idiots, I wonder where this planet’s evolution is going.
Maybe the overpopulation is just more mental pollution, and not evolution.
I really do believe there’s a lot more evolved beings/intelligence and life elsewhere.
Not necessarily as how it have evolved on this planet though. Earthlings are not superior.
More intelligent and higher consciousness driven beings they probably stay invisible best they can for the children of the Earth.
I would too, but I am sitting here 😉
Next time of full departure from this beautiful but messed up world, I'll ask for a really big upgrade, for sure.
I got a much better hang of what that actually involves now.
I had the option when I had a NDE. At that time I thought it was a good choice to continue in that young body a while longer to raise my consciousness.
Don’t take me wrong, I have a blast with doing just that, especially when meeting with idiots and unconscious beings. Even if the effected parts of me don't.
Because it do serve often as strong closures with certain aspects much more distinct today.
Life is not about the game a lot are playing unconsciously. They even think they actually are the pawn, and most doesn’t even have a driver license for that vehicle.
I blame the rising levels of CO2. Apply a small but detectable change 24/7 to 8 billion people worldwide and you wind up with a handful of idiots who put bullets in a popcorn machine for the LOL's. 🙃 Fortunately, Darwin awards weed out the worst. Some days when I had enough encounters with idiots, I wonder where this planet’s evolution is going.

No idea. Never owned one. Because I’m an all in Apple fanboy!Let me be a fanboy for a minute.
I’m writing this message from my new iPhone 14 Pro, man this thing is good!
Why do people buy Android phones again? 😅
No I wasn’t. Started work full time at 15. Always had Saturday jobs or evening jobs before that.I feel very inexperienced in life... I was just thinking about this, and it's been keeping me up at night. It seems like by this point, I should have already experienced much of "the adult world." But I just recently learned to drive, and my dad is an administrator at the school I attend, so it makes no sense for me to drive myself... a lot of other students do that. I never really spend time outside of school with friends, etc. and I think that's also a hallmark of growing up. I think it's also been tricky to find people to talk to with common (and even uncommon) interests. I get it, that's something I'm supposed to be initiating, but for some reason I'm just too afraid to do it. Also, I've never worked, and that's partially because I just learned to drive last year, and also that we're out of town most summers... but also, have I ever really wanted to work—like at a restaurant, etc.? No, of course not, so I'm not motivated to try. That's another "thing" that people unlike me have done—WORKED! At this point, I think it's a little embarrassing how dependent I am on my parents, and I need to figure out how to turn that around somewhat, because I'm gonna be leaving for college this year, and living on my own, and I just need to figure out the best way to "prepare myself" so I won't feel so inexperienced.
Also, a question: After college, what am I supposed to do? I know, I need to find a job afterwards, but it feels like that's just a fraction of everything that you go through, but maybe I'm mistaken. I literally don't know what I'm going to be doing in 5 years. And also, what factors play into finding a job that pays well and that you can make a sustainable living off of?
Any thoughts on this? Were you in a similar situation at my age?

FWIW my advice at this stage in your life (I am a university lecturer and see many young adults with similar questions):I feel very inexperienced in life... Same here. The ones in our garden are still not in flower, but saw some nice ones on my walk.@rm5: @VulchR has written an exceedingly good post full of excellent advice; for what it is worth, I used to be a university lecturer, and I agree with every word he has written.
On my mind: I saw daffodils today, glowing, glorious, and gorgeous in their life-affirming rich buttery yellows, and glinting golds; just lovely.

Daffodils do not just put a smile on my face whenever I see them, rather, I realise, when I lay eyes on them, that I am grinning from ear to ear; the realisation comes after the grin, which comes after my eyes have feasted on their golden yellow glory, a true harbinger of spring.Still keeping an eye on the green stems poking up from the ground.....the mild winter has coaxed them out much earlier than usual. Probably won't see the actual blossoms for a while, especially if the weather suddenly turns very cold and we have some of the white stuff....
Just added one to the POTD thread.Daffodils do not just put a smile on my face whenever I see them, rather, I realise, when I lay eyes on them, that I am grinning from ear to ear; the realisation comes after the grin, which comes after my eyes have feasted on their golden yellow glory, a true harbinger of spring.
And a broad hint: Any pictures, images or shots that you care to shoot and share will be greeted with delight and welcomed with joy.

Thank you both.No daffodils here yet for me to shoot, but yes indeed I'm sure I'll be taking more than a few shots of them when they finally do bloom. I noted today when going out that the leaves and stems are definitely continuing to make progress, so if all goes well weather-wise we should have some in the front yard here and around the community.
@VulchR, thank you so much for your advice, it's truly helpful! I mean I'll have to see what happens, but this is all good advice to live by! I just want to feel very prepared for the real world, you know what I mean?
@Scepticalscribe, mind me asking what you used to teach? I'm just curious.
