Well, like some of you on here, I can't wait until the new MBP C2D 17" comes out...Tuesday. Would be nice if it did. :)

While waiting for it to come out, I was wondering how to protect this portable music recording studio that will be on the go all the time. I have been researching cases for over a month now and i got it down to six cases, from three of the top makers in the business. They all claim they are made for the MBP 17" on their sites.

Does anyone own one of these bags or know which one would be best?

Any comments, suggestions and advice would be highly appreciated. Although this is my first post on this forum, I have found many of your posts on here very helpful in making my switch to the Mac World. Thanks in advance for your help on this.

I was looking at the Booq bag and then I went to the Apple store and found their 17" "incase" backpack at the store for like $59 or $69. It's pretty much the same exact thing as the Booq bag, minus a few hidden pockets here and there, and like $100 cheaper. It fits my MOTU traveler and a few manuals and cables perfectly. It's also fairly slim so it doesn't look like I'm going camping.

I've also since gotten a regular Porsche Design messenger bag. It looks classier than any backpack and holds the same amount of stuff as my backpack. Also doubles as a bag for work, so I'm fine with that.
