What's the best explorer.

I stick to Safari despite how often it crashes and how if I wasn't so used to it/stubborn about switching I would probably get more out of Firefox.

Firefox. I used Chrome briefly at the office when FF was leaking memory but I found some tweaks to get FF to release memory when minimized and I'm back to using FF. I use FF Sync exclusively and I've let my xmarks data grow cold. I have FF Home on my iThings so I can bring my bookmarks on the road with me if I like.

The other day I followed a link to read a news story and my computer started making noises. Making noises!?!? I reinstalled flashblock on the spot. I had done without flashblock for several months but I can't stand it when some web author assumes I want their music playing when I'm in a meeting at work or that I ever want to hear something that sounds like the voices used on tv infomercials. Flashblock gets in my way at times but at least I'm never bombarded with sounds I don't want to hear. There is a flashblock thing for Chrome but I found Chrome to be too minimal for my tastes. I do like the unified url and search bar and I hope the other browsers pick it up. If you dislike Chrome because they moved tabs to the top, watch out, FF is moving them to the top in its next release.

On Mac, I use Safari. Firefox is significantly slower on both of my Macs.

On Windows, Firefox.

Firefox. I personally think it's the generally best browser. With the futuristic Firefox 4 Beta theme, it's the best. I use Google Chrome when internet's kinda slow. And the title "What's the best explorer" makes it sound like Internet Explorer. 🙁

MobileMe Syncing is nice for iPhone/iPad/MacBook Pro.

If the others had adblock-like extensions, I would consider them too. I realized yesterday that adblock not only blocks ads that appear when a webpage loads, but even in videos. In Safari and other browsers, certain videos have a 15-30 second ad before the video plays, but the same video loads automatically in Firefox with adblock.

its also about safari's poor memory management through time in each session. It keeps leaking when time goes by.

I use safari, on my Mac but its a pig and it seems its always had poor memory management.

Thanks guys but Safari recently is not that good as it was, it keeps crashing I don't know why, and downloading file when i open it 😕

Now I moved to Chrome, its cool and quite nice.

I prefer Firefox, its just so hard to let go of...I try to use Safari but I always end up back with firefox. I know its bloated, slow and ugly but theres just toooooo many add-ons that I simply can't live without 😱

Safari, just because I've been lazy and haven't installed Chrome yet. The few times I've used it, it's been quick and speedy, though and I can't yet compare it to Safari.
