Let's end the great debate once and for all: what's the best potato chip ever?
Are we strictly limiting it to snack products that are made from potatoes, because all of my favorite tortilla chips go out the window then.
Don't hate me, but I like Sour Cream & Onion Pringles, and Maui Sweet Onion Chips.
Cape Cod 40% Reduced Fat
UTZ crab chips are to die for. Everything UTZ makes is awesome. Unfortunately I can't get them on the west coast. The pain.
Utz Crab Chips. Debate over.
EDIT-^^HOLY!!! Great minds think alike...
Dirty Chips!!! Black Pepper & Sea Salt Flavor, YUMMY!
Homemade thin sliced Idaho potatoes fried up in a little oil with salt & pepper.
If you want a store product vote then I'll say Baked Lays.
For my taste, these hit the spot
Their salt and vinegar is pretty ace too.
Me too. Either sour cream Pringles, or plain pringles.
I also like most of the fancier brands like Kettle.
Oh wow, I love Zapps. The Crawtaters rock! The Jalepeno flavor is also really good.
Edit: They aren't exactly potato chips, but I do love Sun Chips, especially in the Harvest Cheddar flavor.
I'm a really big fan of the original Lay's Stax, find them better than Pringles by a longshot.
The greatest crisp ever is clearly Seabrooks Salt and Vinegar, truly the King of Crisps.
Perhaps a Mod would be kind enough to close this thread now, it's obviously over.
Krunchers...with Cape Cod's Sea Salt chips a close second.
C'mon folks this isn't even a debate...HOT FRIES!!!
Cheeto's or Andy Capp brand will do....
Kettle brand salt and vinegar!!!!
It doesn't get any better than Kettle Chips, IMO. I especially love the Jalapeño and Honey Dijon ones, but all are good.
These are the best.
Evil, but absolutely addictive; I love them.
Also excellent, and delicious. However, for anyone with an Irish (or perhaps UK) background the Irish made Tayto (cheese and onion in particular) gives them all a run for their money.
Cheers and good luck
The best potato for making chips with - Maris Piper. Fluffy inside, crispy outside. Our fabled Butterworths chippy used to use them and they were perfect.
The best crisps? I rather like Dorito's but that's something else entirely innit? Plain old Walkers for me if thats the case.
+1! Both "original" and "Salt and Vinegar". The ladies are dying to kiss you after eating the Salt and Vinegar chips!
