1. Apple AirPods! My bubble of bliss.
2. Got rid of a crap ton of art related supplies and equipment at starving student/artist prices and raised $450 for my local women’s homeless shelter.
3. This coffee mug (Robert Rauschenberg) (on sale!)

Probably a toss up between my iMac 27 or the AirPods. Love them both and use both every day! Of course, I should probably consider the new hip I bought also...

I should also add to this thread my Apple leather folio case that saved my £1,149 iPhone X. I’m embarrassed to say that whilst throwing out some rubbish (ok, empty booze bottles!) I kept hold of an empty bottle of Jack Daniels and threw the iPhone in the bin! So yes, my Apple leather folio case was a good purchase!

That's quite funny. Everyone's guilty of making a mistake like that at least once in their life.

Might be once, might be many times. I usually find myself making silly mistakes like that when I'm tired. Sometimes you do experience a lapse in critical thinking because your mind is handling a lot of things all at once.

Sony WH1000XM2 (second-gen wireless headphones). They're really, really good.

I'm also very happy with my Nektar Impact LX88+ MIDI keyboard.

That is very funny.

And yes, I am a big fan of well made leather cases - smart looking and very practical.

Only once?!

Indeed.

It was dark outside so had my iPhone’s light on. Right bin, wrong content!

I understand this very well.

Yes, that stage of tiredness when silly and stupid mistakes creep in; am more than familiar with it, and it is a strong signal to stop whatever you are doing, - irrespective of deadlines or workload - until you have recharged, even a little.

Glad you asked that question, as I had assumed it was an American expression that I hadn't yet come across.

I bought a horse that needed some help; He wasn't nearly as well cared for as he should have been.

He was a bit of a health project (nothing major, just some weight and getting his teeth, feet, and skin right).
And he's a spicy off the track thoroughbred (in other words, a "retired racehorse") and they are a bit high-strung, spooky, and can be tempermental.

He was not at all what I was in the market for, but I couldn't walk away from him

Anyhow, he's a project bc I'm working on getting him what he needs (he was in pretty good need of training), in order to live a healthy life, with a little bit of a job (they need that), and just finally get to be someone's spoiled horse.
He won't compete in anything anymore, I'm just trying to make a reliable trail mount out of him.

Ah, thanks very much for taking the time to post your kind and comprehensive explanation; very interesting and the very best of luck with it.

The memory of watching the Yankees play and having a beer & hotdog in a packed Yankee Stadium on a warm, clear July day.

Cheers

Of course
He’s a conversational Bermuda Triangle for me... if someone asks, I get lost in the discussion and won’t shut up, so your pretty lucky that I was this “brief”, lol
