Apple was scant on details. We might find out during hands-on or if someone asks the right person the right questions.

It did look like (in the taptic engine explanation video) that the battery shown was listed at like 1735 or 1715 mAh.

Can't see any mention in the specs of RAM or battery capacity?
They don't usually post that in their spec sheets. You'd have to wait for a teardown to be done to find out, or a leaked benchmark test result. Essentially the only difference is the OIS in the Plus models only and the screen size difference. The battery life is supposed to be the exact same as last year's model.

I did notice on the website they list "HD video playback" time under the battery stats instead of just "video playback"

Also, the 6S is 14 grams heavier than the 6 and the 6S+ is 20 grams heavier than the 6+

Yes! Exactly!

I find it weird that they didn't touch on that during the conference considering the length they went through explaining the differences between the two models during the Apple 6 Plus intro conference. Hopefully today's conference is not misleading in the sense that they are not cheapening the 6s model by removing some features off though I suspect the same differences between the two models, mainly the optical camera stabilizing feature of 6 Plus, still is a "Plus" exclusive. Though it really is a shame that they didn't say anything regarding the slow motion feature. I reckon slow motion would still be 240fps at 1080 and probably half or quartered the number of fps for 4K resolution. Otherwise they certainly would have bragged about it.

Another thing that they didn't point out is the thickness of the device. No mention at all. Leading us to think that all of the casing available on the market today would still fit the S models. Though if all the leaked photos were of any indication, some of them won't.

It is exactly the same as the current 6 & 6 Plus. No differences which is the biggest disappointment. Today's iPhone was all focused on camera, pictures and videos. Nothing else.

On the specs sheet the size increase is negligible (I think .2mm is the maximum increase in thickness), and the slow motion video is now 1080p at 120 and 720 still at 240. They do also list taking 8MP stills while recording 4K video.

You saw the specs sheet? I'm assuming you're at the conference right now?

Thanks for clearing that up. I expected more regarding the slow motion feature, but oh well.
