Fairly certain Apple is staying away from anything dark. Look at the progression of slate to space to even lighter space. They can't even get the pink to stay on by the looks of other threads.

Agreed. Not particularly happy that space gray keeps getting lighter. It's to the point where it is basically silver... :/

I do prefer black bezels but the space gray looks dull to me so I go with the white bezels for color I'm hoping that either gold or Rose gold come with a black bezels

I hope so too but it had kinda been a tradition with Apple. I keep a slim case on my iPhone so I do not see the color of my phone anyway. The black bezels are the only way I will go.

I like the copper idea the best. If I had another suggestion, I would go for some kind of an light emerald green.

I'd probably always get the black/space gray...but wouldn't mind seeing a nice blue.

Actually, if Apple offered other colors but with the front bezel in black, I'd probably be open.
