iPod Whats the point of an FM tuner?

Sometimes, people enjoy music besides their music. They want to listen to other things, or just want to listen to a type of music that isn't on their iPod.

Yep, broaden one's horizons if you will. 🙂

It's extremely unlikely you'll ever see an AM tuner in an iPod because they usually need cheap internal bulky ferrite rod antennae, unscreened by any metal.

Why can't I get shortwave on my iPod, that's what I want to know. 😉

I can buy a FM tuner to attach to an iPod - but what would be more useful would be an AM tuner.

I already have music, but sometimes I need news.
