What's the point of the iPad? (honest question)

I'm a sys admin. I use my iPad to manage our virtualised server environment, remote control servers, access routers switches and power distribution boards at our HQ, remote offices and data centre from anywhere is the world.

In addition to that I read books, watch movies, create documents, presentations and spreadsheets.

All from my iPad.
From anywhere is the world.

Sure other tablets could do that same (although I don't think VMware apps are available on android.), but none of them can do it as smoothly or seamlessly as the iPad.

Yeah, could be someone who sympathizes with the OP, I suppose. But I really do like the voting system, it just evens out in the end to show a more or less general concensus.
