Right ... so back to me. I got the pwnage tool, do I just download that 3.1.2 firmware & 05.11.07 baseband file?

The Best thing for you to do is take the advices on post #19 and #26 to heart.

Read and research very carefully everything there is need to be known about jailbreaking... don't cut corners, and realistically come back in a day or two after you have a decent grasp of the concept. When you are ready to Jailbreak (not now) when you've done all your reading ....
then and only then, read post #13 again and give us your iPhone info. and start the process from there.

No offense but you seem a little clueless, and Jailbreaking is similar to personally customizing your computer to your own taste and needs and Yes... no one can hold your hand and spoon feed you through that process, basically Jailbreaking isn't the hard part, really. Knowing what you want to do with your iPhone after jailbreaking is indeed the hard part and it's a very personal process... So again if your goal is to have that Lockscreen you showed in your OP, find out how that was achieved what apps were used etc.

You need to start somewhere so we can help you.
thanks.

Clearly you have not followed our advice. If you do not know enough to answer this question, you are not ready to jailbreak and should do some more reading. Seriously, this is not something you should do by following a tutorial without knowing what you're doing, why you're doing it, and what the consequences might be.

I recommend a tutorial from either iClarified or Hackintosh.

i reconmend iclarified. very good and easy to follow. but as many people have said before, do some research. i was busy looking at forums/google etc for a good few weeks before i took the plunge.

oh and stay away from sn0wbrezze:eek:

I agree ! Stick with DevTeam tools if at all possible. (Blacksn0w is the one exception since Ultrasn0w won't touch 5.11.xx)

maybe the thread title was misleading but i think the OP was actually asking what that particular jailbreak app was , not what a jailbreak is...

back to topic, it looks like some sort of lockinfo style thing, i havent actaully seen it released tho, cheers

Maybe it's time for me to jailbreak, that's so badass!
How do I get that on my phone?

No I think the Op is pretty clear on not having a Jailbroken phone (or not knowing how to jailbreak) yet and being interested in jailbreaking... So he can get that Lock screen he seems to like.

I'm sorry but I am failing to see his wording any other way:eek:

The plain meaning of his words is that he does not know what a jailbreak is, and I find no reason in his first or subsequent posts for thinking otherwise. On the contrary, he is very clear that he in fact has no idea what jailbreaking is or how to do it, and he continues in his subsequent posts to confirm that what he wants is spoon-fed jailbreaking instructions.
