Simplenote has been one of my favourite apps for many years now. But it seems to have been abandoned by the developer, and I can't find a way to upgrade to the latest, Apple Silicon native version.
I'm stuck on version 2.2 but found online that version 2.7 is Silicon native. But there are no downloads on the Simplenote site, or in the App store, and no update function in the app itself.
The website seems to be abandoned. The help section sends you to the forums but I tried to post into the forums and created an account but the 'publish' button will not work.
This is a fantastic app and I will be very sorry to see it go.
Does anyone know what is happening with it? Or where I can get a legit download of the latest version?
