That's to be expected… the glass is shattered, it doesn't matter if the chips come off. just be careful not to cut yourself.


It might do it might not, a lot of DIY iphone/ipod repairs are a bit trial and error. nobody will be able to tell you how much damage you have done to your ipod by dropping it, so I suggest you get the replacement parts you think you need and have a go at fixing it. at $20 you can hardly go wrong...

also i heard if it doesnt work and everything else is fine that you have to restore is this true and if i do how can i keep all my apps and music cause i lost my itunes libary from doing a system reboot it cleared everything so how can i get it on my comp
 
thank god nothing was wrong with it it was alright screen works and everything the only problem is that i forgot my pass and now it says connect to itunes what will that do?
