At my parents, about 3-5 Mbps down and 1 up on a good day. Pixius communications out in the middle of nowhere. Only alternative is satellite.
My house, 15 down 5 up, DSL. Wanting to change to cable (Cox) soon since the contract for DSL expired. My roommate that owns the place didn't know anything about internet services when he bought the house and went with DSL.
At work, 200 down 20 up shared with 150+ computers and a single 20/20 fiber for a video stream on the weekends. This is a Cox business line and fiber that just got put in on our side of the highway.
I wish I had access to fiber at home, or even faster cable at good price points, but it simply doesn't seem to exist here.
This is the current speed record where I came from.
