Well for me, since I'm still in school I'd like to/will be an acritect. My dream career is to be an pilot for Emirate flying the A380, after logging countless hours in FSX perfecting it. :rolleyes:

So I'm asking you, what's YOUR dream profession?
 
If I could get a better position in Radio - and be a bit better at it - I'd be happy. To have a nice morning talk show in a mid-sized city would be bliss. We're talking Frazer Crane here.

Or - what say one of those internet jobs where you cruise Miracle Mile in your Rolls while your website churns out six figures a month.
 
Hedge Fund Manager. To play around with peoples' billions of dollars and get paid for it? Yea sign me up.
 
My *dream* career would be a photographer, but seeing as the career opportunities are thin, I'm hoping to get my Engineering degree and get a job with a car manufacturer and try to make a hydrogen/electric supercar, much like the Tesla Roadster, only more reliable and quicker to charge.

I used to think that was what I wanted to do, then I found out what it took to make it to the manager level, not any more.

I would say professional golfer as well. Used to carry a 4 handicap when I played everyday, but eventually college and work got in the way of that.

Let me tell you that being a university professor is not all it's cracked up to be :eek:. I remember this question going around when I was a senior in high school. I think the no. 1 response from all my friends was either Playboy photographer or porn star.

Here in NJ Elementary and High School teachers make a lot more than University Professors and the benefits don't even compare.
 
wildlife photographer.

absolutely love the process of finding a spot, looking for something, snapping pics and then the post production that I do for my amateur stuff. to do it on a pro level and take famous snaps that might last generations or even snaps that mean something to alot of ppl, would be amazing.

In many instances, university professors aren't putting in a 40-hour week for the university - they teach two or three classes a week, keep some office hours, and spend the rest of their time getting published or doing research (which pays above and beyond their university salary).
 
My dream career would be one where I could be around an airport/commercial aviation. I've always loved airliners and traveling. Unfortunately at 26 and no university degree, seems like a far away dream :(

how much do they earn? :eek: Since my dream career (see below) isn't working out to well. Around may 17th it will be a year since i've graduated and been unemployed so i might go back for my masters in education.

Anything in tv production. Pref. sports (hockey) doing the games.
