I usually watch college basketball and college football. I never watch pro sports though, they always seem boring to me.

It's funny how there's sports people like to watch live a lot more than on TV.

Personally, I think hockey is amazing live. Though I like it on TV, it's just not the same dynamic.

Football (American) on the other hand is sort of dismal live, unless you have good seats. Going to see a game is much more about tailgating and hanging out with friends than actually seeing anything from your nose bleed seats in the middle of the winter...

I don't watch any sport on TV. Actually, my tv doesn't get any channel! Its sole purpose is to read the DVD player signal. 😀
The only sport I'd be interested in would be freediving, and I don't think there's such thing as a Freediving Channel.

No cheerleading either. Cheerleading IS a sport, or so I have been informed by some very irate bottle-blondes. 😛

I had college roommates that were cheerleaders. They would get very angry when someone tried to tell them it is not a sport. It got to the point where it was fun to say even if you didn't have an opinion about it.

I think the man show did something on 'what is a sport'; if I remember correctly they said 'any activity that requires subjective judgment to win and/or does not require a referee to call in-game rule violations is thus not a sport'
<edit> oh yeah there might have been something in there about severe bodily harm too...</edit> Thus things like cheer leading, synchronized swimming, golf, billiards, darts and so on should be referred as competitions (some of which are more physical than others). 😉
