I'm now down to 91% on 14PM... I wasn't planning on upgrading to the 15 but now I dont know....

My 12 Pro is at 83% for reference
Daughter's 12 - 87% (1 month after launch)
Son 12 Mini - 86% (same)
Wife 13 Pro - 87% (launch day)

My 14 Pro - 88% (launch day)

On the Apple event today, "A16 Bionic proven... how efficient it is..."

EFFICIENT MY AZZZZZZZ....

my launch day 14 Pro is at 89%, but it seems to struggle to make it through an entire day. I was contemplating trading it in for a new 15 pro but I'm not realizing it'll be way cheaper to just pay apple to replace my battery.

My 14 pro is at 88% as of today! Idk what I am doing wrong.. but I feel like this battery never lasted me a full day. For those who are at 100, do you never use your phones or something? I am a heavy user.. but jeesh.. oh, and it has to be under 80 to be replaced under warranty.

Mine is at 90% with 559 cycles. Tried to replace it but every store says no replacements available due to it being a new phone still. But i wonder does 90% make that huge impact or is there no point in replacing it?

So I don’t understand how the # of cycles contribute to capacity… being that I have 312 cycles and mine is at 88! Makes no sense.

91% on my 14 Pro Max since I installed the iOS 17 developer beta. I think having my phone connected to a magsafe charger all the time on my desk or bedside table has degraded the battery. Luckily i'm on the upgrade program

launch day 14PM at 88%....looking for best trade in deal for 15PM...Tmobile One Plus plan currently..

89% on my 14 Pro that I bought launch day. Honestly I've been having bad luck with the batteries since the XS. I figured it was a trade off for getting a perfect screen.

I'm considering getting a 15 Pro now. I traded in my 13 Pro yesterday so I have that amount on a gift card. So that with the trade in for my 14 Pro, will cover the cost of a new 15 Pro, I just have to pay taxes.

I do think there's some manufacturing variance from battery to battery. From what I understand, iPhones will stay at 100% for along time because the percentage is actually over 100% (the actual charge capacity is higher than the "rated" capacity). Then, they'll start dropping below 100% and will continue to. In reality, the percentage was always dropping, you just didn't know it because all you saw was "100%." Some iPhones, fresh off the production line, have 105% battery, some have 110% battery.

YES, usage and good/bad charging habits will also impact battery health. But I believe the above paragraph is also true.

I believe that's why some people can do everything right and have 95% gone after 6 months, and why others can adopt the same charging habits and still be at 100%.

FWIW, I've had my iPhone SE for a year and it's down to 92%. It was at 100% for like six months or more. Been falling like a rock ever since! :p
Yeah, this lotto thing is horrible lol

I mean when I buy a lottery ticket for 2 bucks I'm fine with it

When said ticket costs 1500 bucks...errr

As others, and in my opinion my 14 Pro is worst battery had. 87% launch.

I’m thinking if I upgrade to go 15 this time, non Pro. But now I’m worried about if it’s an inherent A16 problem, will just be more of the same.

I think the A16 used is identical to this years 14 Pro, so will we not get the same problems?

Mine doesn’t last a day, I’m making sure I can charge mid afternoon, before was waiting until later evening to charge.

14 pro max launch day still sitting at 100% per the battery health on settings. Coconut Battery still reports 4511 mah. Thats. Still 102% above the rated capacity.

went to the store today to see if they would replace it under the limited warranty which ends for me in 3 days...nope..they said I'd have to pay $99....my hunch is there are some select batches of bad batteries...it's gonna take a class-action lawsuit likely unless they acknowledge the issue....i spoke to a senior apple tech today and told him my research showing this to be a large problem based on many accounts of customers and he did not deny it...i told him i wanted to make a record of my issue with apple....
