I’ve been hanging at 86% for quite some time now too on my 14 pro. I’m still on iOS 16.7.2. How is iOS 18? Still fast? I’m afraid to lose my launch software’s speed!
I did not see any loss of performance going from iOS 17 to 18. I would say in some ways it feels a little smoother, but that could be new and shiny placebo. More importantly my battery life remains consistent. I am quite pleased with everything performance wise, but obviously everyone’s experience will differ based on their needs and perceptions, as well as what is on their phones and how they use it. Though I no longer beta test, I am a day one updater. I can’t remember iOS 16 performance wise LOL.

My battery health page still says 86%, but the actual analytic data disagrees (as best I can tell).

Launch day 14 Pro hit 79% yesterday.

AppleCare battery replacement booked for Sunday.
WOW 😮! After 2 years it reached 79%. My 3 years old iPhone 13 Pro has been stuck at 81% for a few weeks now. I can’t wait until it reaches 79% so I can book an appointment at the Apple Store.

Do they swap the phone or replace the battery while you wait?
Usually they do battery replacement, which would take about an hour.

The analysis scan detected an issue with wireless charging (no idea why, seemed to work fine) so they just replaced the whole phone.

Thanks for the follow up. Are you happy with the functional and cosmetic appearance of the device you received? Was it boxed?

Not boxed (well, plain brown box, but they opened and just gave me the phone. It’s cosmetically perfect.

Functionally seems fine.

Mine's (launch day) starting to drop faster again. It was at 85% for about 6 months. In the last month, it went from 84% and now down to 83%. If I knew it was going to start spiraling down like this so fast, I would have kept paying for AC+ monthly. I intend to get a new battery the moment that reduced power message thing comes up.

Edit 2 days later: Now it’s down to 82%. Like I said, starting to spiral downwards pretty quickly now.
