Hi,

You were right as on the 14PM the battery and rear glass is known as the rear system and have to be replaced together.

I was quoted £70+ if I wanted screen done at the same time though

Sitting at 86% for the past few months (11/22 purchase). Will be interesting to see of there is a steady decline with iOS 18 as there was within the first few months of iOS 17. I dropped 5% health in 3 months when upgrading to 17. 388 cycles currently. Hoping to squeeze another year without battery replacement as I await to see what the rumoured iPhone Air brings to the market. I have never had a battery replacement. My iPhone X served me for 5 years and never went to or below 80%, and I have exactly the same usage and charging habits with my 14PM. ¯\(°_o)/¯

Just get iOS18 on it as quick as possible and it might just drop under 80%…🤪

😂. I’m out of warranty so hopefully it crawls from now on. I won’t sweat it, but it’s definitely subpar in terms of component quality compared to previous iPhones I’ve had. Good old Tim will gladly diminish user experience to save a penny per unit. It’s how a finance run company works. If I get to 500 cycles before it degrades than so be it. I’ll just get a new battery for the first time. Hopefully it lasts until the iPhone Air comes next year.

I have my 14 Pro since launch day and it has 84%. Funny is that my girlfriend got her normal Iphone 14 at the same day and she has 96%.

As I stated before I'm still just above 80% after 2 years. I lost the first 10% in less than 12 months though.

More than the % ; however, the battery life has just really gone down after updates and age and the loss seems way more significant than the lost of 20%. Especially when using it the batter just fades quickly, and way faster than when it was new. Its not nearly as bad as my 12 mini, which I loved but the battery life under heavy use was just terrible.

We will see if the pro max is that much better or not.

My phone was replaced September 2023 - I honestly can’t even remember what for any more. Work order shows display issue.

I’m down to 90% again. Dropping off on Friday for a new 16 PM

87%. Retiring on Friday.
My iphone 12pro is also retiring this Friday with 87%. I don’t use mine hard-core like some do and that might be a reason why the 14 model goes down pretty fast for some.

That's a good long run for your 12P. The battery quality decreased in the 14 PM, and it shows.

Purchased my iPhone 14 Pro 1TB model December 22, 2022. I use it a lot for my 3-4 times a week Mtb rides gps .

Battery went to 76%, I got a notice August 2024 it needs replacement. Spent $99 my own money on August 15, 2024.

anyone know how i can go month to month with my applecare? it expires in november and i'm at 82%. it was transferred over to me as a used phone and i don't see an option to go month to month.

Try here. If this isn’t helpful, I would call support or go in store of you have an  Store near you.

Stuck at 86% for 4 months now and holding post iOS 18 update for now.
I’ve been hanging at 86% for quite some time now too on my 14 pro. I’m still on iOS 16.7.2. How is iOS 18? Still fast? I’m afraid to lose my launch software’s speed!
