I posted this thread what 10 days ago and it was 94%. two days ago i looked and it was 93%. today it is 92% (apple settings on my phone not coconut, wil check that when i get home from work).

so 2% in 10 days. at this rate i will be down to 20% or so in a year...
Continuing the 1% every 5 days I'm now 91%. I have updated to iOS17

100%, i used it a lot during the day and my battery doesn't feel like its 100%

safari and facebook being the main battery drain culprits.

Continuing the 1% every 5 days I'm now 91%. I have updated to iOS17

maybe the drop is slowing down. took 14 days to reach 90%. although on thinking, ive not checked for a few days at least. still my previous theory would mean id be 89/88?

I do think there's some manufacturing variance from battery to battery. From what I understand, iPhones will stay at 100% for along time because the percentage is actually over 100% (the actual charge capacity is higher than the "rated" capacity). Then, they'll start dropping below 100% and will continue to. In reality, the percentage was always dropping, you just didn't know it because all you saw was "100%." Some iPhones, fresh off the production line, have 105% battery, some have 110% battery.

YES, usage and good/bad charging habits will also impact battery health. But I believe the above paragraph is also true.

I believe that's why some people can do everything right and have 95% gone after 6 months, and why others can adopt the same charging habits and still be at 100%.

FWIW, I've had my iPhone SE for a year and it's down to 92%. It was at 100% for like six months or more. Been falling like a rock ever since! :p
I’ve got a SE as well and I’m on 91% for a year as well..

Mine is down to 90% battery health and the battery runs out so much quicker now that I need to use an apple magnetic battery to last a whole day.

Will be purchasing an iPhone 15 pro max next as I don’t trust the battery on the regular size iPhone to last long.

iPhone 14 Pro purchased on 27th Jan 2023...
Battery health = 100%

I don't baby my phone, it's a tool. It's on charge a lot, I always charge via Magsafe too.

Launch day 14 Pro Max down to 93%. Don’t think I’ve ever been below 98% at this point with the same usage (I upgrade annually). MagSafe charging every night and CarPlay when driving with all the battery preserving features turned on. It’s been dropping rapidly the past few weeks. My buddy at work has been having the same issues and is down to 92% with his 14 Pro Max. Either something is up with this generation or we got a bad batch or something.

Iphone 14 Pro purchased Oct 2022 still at 100% capacity. Noticed unlike my old phones this one gets really hot if I use it while charging.

iPhone 14 Pro Max since launch currently on 91% left.

I have to admit the heavy usage I put this phone through tho, my brightness is always at max and I turned off the "auto turn-off display" setting so it's effectively ALWAYS-ON, lol. It's also always charging through MagSafe when I'm at my desk (Which is pretty much all the time.)

Doesn't bother me all too much, September is really close.

At 99%, I am using it heavily since Nov 11. Always charged when it hit below 10% and charged it till 100%. "Always on" on all the time except for while sleeping. Mostly wifi usage with dual e-sim active.
I use my samsung charger which came with my S21 plus which 25 watts.

once it drops below 100, it goes down to low 90s fairly quick and stays there, slowly dropping to 80.

dont keep your phone at 100% charge all the time and avoid fast charging/wireless charging if feasible as heat from those can kill a battery faster.

But if you change your phone every 1-2 years, it doesnt matter what you do - you'll be fine. That stuff only matters if you want to keep the phone for 4-5 years

Launch day 14 Pro Max still at 100% with optimized battery charging and clean energy enabled. I also don’t charge over night every night and I don’t use fast charging.

17 days later, still on 90% so maybe steadied.

Launch day iPhone 14 Pro here. Until approx. two months ago it was sitting at 100%. It now has decreased significantly and I’m down to 94%. I think that’s the worst performance I ever had with an iPhone after almost one year.

Launch day 14 pro, down to 92%! My 11 pro was at 89% after 3 years, so quite disappointing. The battery life already felt worse from day 1, but nowadays I often cannot get through a whole day.

14 PM since December. 100% battery health. Charged only with cable (most of the time in car with Car Play working).

14PM is at 98% and I’ve had it since a couple weeks after launch. I charge overnight exclusively with MagSafe.

100% since launch.
Lately I’ve been needing to charge twice a day. Most of the time the phone gets charged to 80%. But I don’t remember the last time I had the iPhone charged to 100% battery.
Quoting myself. Now battery heath is 96%. So from 100 to 96% in one month. 🤔
