200mb from at&t. Have to be diligent and update/DL everything over my wi-fi before stepping out the door but it's worked out so far.

That money you saved will most likely be spent in the future when you do go over your 2gb data allotment using apps that right now we can't even imagine yet.

Just cause you don't use 2gb a month now doesn't mean you won't always not use 2gb a month. Things change. Especially mobile broadband.

That's a bet I'm willing to make. I have wifi at work and home which covers me the vast majority of the time. I get less and less worried about not having unlimited each month I save more money not having it. If I had ever used above 1 GB I might think differently, but for me I have the plan that suits my needs.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A334 Safari/7534.48.3)

I think he was wondering how much data you use a month, not what plan do you have. I use about 4-5GB a month & I don't tether. I do use spotify and pandora a lot to stream music though.

ok so just asking data plan i guess and not full plan.

Then i pay $6.39 for unlimited data on Verizon. I get a $20 discount everymonth and a 12% employee discount from the top. My wife pays $10 for unlimited data on Verizon.

i pay 14,5$ a month (in denmark - EU)

i get:

1GB data(more than enough for me, so far - might not be with the itunes match etc)
free texting
and then i pay i think its like 40 or 50 øre per minut (100 øre = 1 kr. 5,6 kr = 1 dollar - you do the math!) whatever it costs, its cheap :D

On top of that, i get full 3G coverage in basically my whole country, except a few tiny islands i never visit and the outskirts of the areas where nobody lives anyway

I've yet to use more than 500 mb per month for data though. I mostly use my phone in school or at home and both those places got wifi

Unlimited with ATT, I used to do about 5 gigs a month, but withthe HBO GO and constant music streaming, im in the 9-10 gig range...

unlimited from AT&T.

I'm usually right on the line of 2GB during baseball season with the MLB at bat app. but since the braves didn't make the playoffs, usage is down considerably in October :(

$10 per month totally unlimited with NO fair usage policy what so ever and unlimited tethering.
MTNL 3G in Mumbai :)

Consumed 500+ GB so far in last 2-3 months :D

I'm on the AT&T 2 GB plan and I use about 500 MB a month.

My wife is on the AT&T unlimited plan and she uses up to 32 GB a month.

32GB per month?? How the hell can someone use that much data...Did she get txt they will slow her connection down since she is using so much data?

I'm looking to get the iphone 4s, I am trying to get a genreal idea of how much data people use...

thanks!

EDIT: let me rephrase that..... How much data do you use per month?

I have the original iPhone plan "Unlimited Internet + 200 txt messages" for only $20. With iOS 4 i was using under 2 GB, now with iOS 5 i am going close to 3GB per month.

AT&T Unlimited

I have AT&T Unlimited $30.00 - 20% FAN discount = $24

use 250 MB on avg every month

FAN discount applies to $30.00 or above items only, so works out fine for me. I was on iPhone 3G till now. I do expect usage to go up by 50% with iPhone 4S.

$30 unlimited Verizon

Sorry, I can't answer your question regarding how much data I actually use.

I have AT&T $30 unlimited and will always have AT&T $30 unlimited. I use anywhere from six to eight GB of data a month. Never been throttled. Been a customer of AT&T for many years.
