To me, Boston accent sounds like a hybrid American-British accent which is pretty cool.

I think that it really depends on where your parents grew up, if your parents grew up in an area where they wouldn't have an accent, then you probably wouldn't have an accent. I'm half & half, my mother grew up in Weymouth, and doesn't really have an accent, but my dad grew up on Savin Hill (Stab & Kill) for the 1st half of his childhood and I probably got most of my accent from him.I've lived in New York City all my life and I don't really think that I have an accent to be honest.
