My new ringtone is "Song (String version)" by Kidstreet. It's better known as the background music of the new Retina MacBook Pro commercial. I trimmed it down and made it fade in and out. I think it sounds awesome.

If anyone wants it I'll be more than happy to upload it.

After searching I found two short tones that are very subtle, very easy to hear at a low volume, and don't attract attention.

I'm only interested in being notified of a call, not cranking it up high like old people with bad hearing, or young people showing off. :)

The British Airways "Aria" theme music (derived from "The Flower Duet" by Leo Delibes). But not the classic one from the late 80s and early 90s, I've got the one from the "new business class" advert filmed in Times Square, New York.

Subtle and classy.

Ringtone: The ;ast bit of "Push it" by Garbage. Starts of a bit slowly "This is the noise....." and then a bang "Puuuush It"... :D

Text: "Y'u crazy dude" - Ochocinco :D

My head explodes and my body acheeeeees.

In the Uk there is a Swedish Police drama called "Wallander"

In this the main detective has a very distinct cellphone ringtone which i use.

Ive not come across anyone with this ringtone hence I'm never reaching for my phone in error when it has an incoming call ! ;)
This is actually the classic Sony-Ericsson ringtone that came standard wth their phones; Ericsson being Swedish, Wallander had to use it... guess if it had been Finnish we'd heared the standard Nokia-tune throughout the series ;-)

Anyway, I got it from somewhere and I converted it to a ringtone for the iPhone. It's quite distinct and unique still indeed.

I wanted to have something super annoying that would instantly grab the attention of everyone around me so I could be an attention-whore with my iPhone, so I set the main ringtone to the theme song from "Happy Tree Friends". I have 2 other ringtones for special contact groups, a silent ringtone for a list of telemarketer numbers, and the song "Veins" from Godflesh for my older brother because he's a punk.

I am using The Imperial March as my default ringtone. No one else uses it, and most people chuckle when they hear it.

I use that as the custom tone for the number for where I work. I figure anytime they call me wont be anything good, lol.

My default is China Grove, but I have custom times for the people who call the most. Such as Smoke On The Water for my aunt who is our family smoker. Or Darth Vader saying "I am your father" when my Dad texts.

Ringtone: The old Hockey Night In Canada theme song (The Hockey Theme)
Texttone: Super Mario Bros. coin ding

To update this, I am now using the theme song from Arrested Development as my ringtone.

I know you were all wondering if I had changed it or not.
