I suppose alcohol. I don't see anything wrong with it though - I only drink socially, only drink good beers/cocktails (I don't drink just to consume alcohol, I drink it because I like it). Since college, I rarely ever wake up with a hangover.

I suppose caffeine is my vice - that's one thing I'm positively addicted to, despite my best efforts.

I guess gambling could count, but I don't think it's a vice - I only spend $10-20 each time I step into a casino to play Blackjack or Poker, and I step into a casino maybe once every two years. It's just good fun.

Video games and movies I suppose, but I don't personally consider them vices - it's entertaining. If I go through life never "wasting" time, I won't have a life at all. No thanks.

Scotch. I can't remember the last day I didn't have a drink. I don't get drunk everyday, not even close, but I do have a drink or 2 every single day. Had an emergency appendectomy last month and was out the hospital the following day and had a few drinks while recouping on the couch.

PS... actually the day of my operation I went to the ER in the morning and stayed all night so I didn't really drink that day but I did drink the night prior past midnight, so technically I did.

Hmmm....the casino I guess. I don't drink and I've never smoked or taken drugs. I like the odd gamble. I never spend more than £50 at the casino though. I'm known as quite lucky...in the last 8 weeks I've won just over £7000. And I've never spent more than £50 when I've gone in.

1. Spending too much time looking for random subjects on internet. Way too much... Almost a new passion every week. This week it's fixed gear bikes.

2. Girls. But not paying for hookers. Maybe I should because hookers are at the end cheaper than free girls... :D I like going in the pubs and collecting phone numbers...

I would have to say that my main vice is caffeine- esp. diet coke.

I drink alcohol on a social basis, but have been cutting back because I've been working out a lot! Hopefully the trend continues...

My other vice is most likely women. When in a relationship I am committed but when out of one I want to hump anything sexy I run in to; and usually do. I'd elaborate but it's ridiculous.

1. Gross
2. Would you want to be in a relationship with a girl that has been with as many people you've been with? Probably not.

So why do guys think its OK to hump anything they run into than expect to be with a "good" girl?

Oh please. Seriously- when I'm not in a relationship, the field is wide open. I see no reason to be be starved for sex just because I'm not involved in a relationship.

And yeah, I'd love to be with a guy who's been with as many people as I have. It means he's sane, and knows the difference between love and sex. To me, that's healthy. To you, it may be something else.

There's nothing worse than dating a guy who's sex-starved. You never know if he likes you for you, or just likes you because he finally gets to have sex and is confusing love and sex. No thanks. Find me a guy who's been around the block plenty of times and has all that crap figured out.

I know it is, but I still like the 12 year olds. ;) A 15 year old is OK too.

Hookers, that is. I mean scotch.

I don't know whether to laugh or puke at that comment... :p

Can you explain the term? :)
The term Vice? It's a naughty and/or decadent and/or extravagant indulgence you indulgingly indulge in despite it's questionable monetary/moral/health/ethical value. :)

Something you shouldn't do, but damn, it's so good you do it anyway.

I have a similar vice, but it is far more peaty.

[16 year snip]

Islay malts are very moody for me. I mean, I have to be in just the right mood to enjoy them. And then, I'm even more particular than I am with highlanders. How does Lagavulin compare to Laphroaig and Bowmore? I can't stand Bowmore and like Laphroaig but don't want to spend more money on a malt I won't like...
