I get 16 down and 16 up on my Verizon fios on my iPhone.

Oddly enough when my tablet is set up as an LTE wifi hotspot I can get 20 to 30 mbs down on everything connected to it except an iPhone. That usually stays less the 2 mbs. It's useable but just weird. Even on friends iPhones it's the same.

OK I don't understand...I'm getting 9-11 down on my iPhone 4...definitely not a router limitation as I get 80-90 on my MBP (wireless). I have a fast fiber connection, router not the issue...

What could be limiting the phone on wireless?

I have 75/35 fios and my 4s maxs out around 25/25. I do a lot of tests with it when I'm bored and sometimes it will do like 35/5 or 5/35 for no apparent reason, no changes in bandwidth usage on other devices and my wifi is locked.

This is about as much as I can get on virgin media 60mb/s line:

4S / iOS 6.0

I get about 51/12 on Comcast wifi in CT since they upgraded our network. Prior to that I got about 31/5.

We're scheduled for an upgrade sometime during the next 90 days that will supposedly triple out current speeds as we have a business account and nobody else on our box within a mile radius. I'll believe the x3 when I see it though.
