Been using the biggest iPad models since I got an invite to the private Apple reveal at Adobe Max way back in the day. And now? I just want that new Mini—this year would be sweet.

ESR has listed cases for new Pros and Airs on their website https://www.esrgear.com/categories/ipad-cases/

Was holding out hope that they would come with some sort of MagSafe, but looks like not, screen protectors seem to confirm landscape faceID though

I'm honestly hoping that the iPhone version of MagSafe is not added to the iPad because to me it seems like a bad idea. It would add too much to the build cost and make the iPad overall more fragile, and putting a giant iPad on a small wireless charger seems silly and baffling to me, not to mention it would overheat the iPad (especially if it's getting thinner) in addition to its powerful M3 chip, which the fanless MacBook Air can't handle for extended periods of time without throttling

Do you all think the new iPads will be worth it or will an older version last close as long?

What version? M1 or M2 iPad, probably no need to upgrade. Any older, eh, maybe now is a good time.

All depends on what model you have now, and your specific use case.

Honestly, ESR cases have been holding up well for the past 3 years for my M1 iPad Pro. I'd rather just stick to ESR if you bought it.
Great screen protectors by esr I use them on my iPhones and iPad I find the coating on the protectors to be very smooth

If the Apple Stores have a visual reset the night of the 28th like a previous news post said we should see an announcement the 25th/26th and in store the 29th. They don’t do those unless they’re doing a lot of work in the store.

I’m just hoping that these upcoming iPad Pros supports the current Magic Keyboard, I can use that in the meantime because that rumored MK won’t be something I plan to buy immediately.

I’d rather wait until I can buy the rumored MK at a decent reasonable price (perhaps, open box).

I may end up getting an M2 iPad Pro if the new ones aren't compatible with the older keyboards. I am in no way going to pay full price for a magic keyboard, and they've got many of them in really good condition in stock in CeX.

Am starting to contemplate this option now instead of a next gen Air but will end up being driven on price to be honest. If I can get a good clearance deal on an M2 Pro then I could be tempted. Am normally all for getting the latest model but going to try to swing by the Apple Store on my day off tomorrow and have a play with a few of the current line up to see how it compares to gen 1 relic Pro am currently using. Keep telling myself that I don't need bells and whistles as just for web browsing, social media, viewing photos and occasional e-book.

I will instantly buy the new Magic Keyboard. Cannot imagine using the current one for any longer. Trackpack and viewing angle is such garbage.
