Just go to the system preferences and set up file sharing. Send files over your LAN line.

That sale has been going on for about 2 months.

The 23rd would be too close to the iPad preorder availability imo. The iPad ships in 60 days from January 27th, which would be March 28th. The preorders should start in the beginning of March, and I doubt they would release the MBP refresh on the Tuesday right before that. Apple wants you to buy both the MBP AND the iPad, not just one of them. Releasing the MBP refresh tomorrow would give them an entire month of February for MBP sales, and then a fresh new month of March for the iPad preorder sales.

The price is now a straight up 799$ w/o any rebates etc.

He told me some nutter wants to replace the name MacBook Pro with BadBoy Pro. Said there was no way in hell he'd give the computers such a retarded name.
