Available "later this week"? C'mon, if they can put a firm date on pre-orders, why not store availability? I don't actually want to buy one, but I don't understand such lame marketing. :rolleyes:
 
Certainly some reviewers must have it by now. Surprised no leaks on Twitter etc. to the effect of one having it and that their review will be coming shortly.

They are under a non-disclosure agreement until a time specified by Apple. For the Air 2 the embargo was lifted at 9PM EST the night before release, so I'm assuming that's how it will work here too.
 
I found it interesting to note that Ars Technica, who usually receives review units from Apple at the same time as all first-wave reviewers, is saying they will have a review up "as soon as they can get their hands on one." It's possible Apple hasn't provided units in advance for reviews, or if they did, they are keeping it very limited.
 
CNET have got a piece from their creative team .. not read it but surely it covers the pencil ?
 
90% palm rejection may be a problem for those who use Wacom. I hate to be negative (especially now), but it's just the way it is.
