I just purchased two iP5's and ported the numbers from two iP4s's over to AT&T from Verizon.

When am I allowed to sell my old iPhone 4s's? Do I have to pay my final Verizon bill (which includes ETFs) or can I sell the phones now? I don't want to sell the phones and then have the buyer have trouble activating them.

Thanks.

You don't have to wait at all. Just make sure the phones are deactivated off your account and you should be good. I sell my phone every year about 6 weeks before the new one comes out and under contract. As long as you are paying the bill they won't care. Now that you are with at&t it will be easier. All you need to do is restore the phone take the sim out and you can sell it.

Really? Realistically, I stated I sold it on eBay, I NEVER claimed I walked away with $450 in my hands... And since I mentioned eBay, we know there are fees involved. That's like you saying that my 32gb iPhone is really only 28gb because of what the OS takes up, etc. Are you that realistic, ZBoater or are you unrealistic? That is all. Thanks for the congrats.

Not unrealistic, I'd prefer accurate. Saying you sold it in eBay for $450 doesn't quite tell the whole story to someone trying to decide where to sell their phone.

I got $400 in my pocket without having to do much of anything. No shipping costs, no fees, nada. Could I have gotten a few bucks more had I sold it on my own? Maybe. But my time is valuable too. So for people wanting to compare selling options, it's more helpful if you can be more accurate. That is all. :p
