Got in line about 8:20, as number 70 or thereabouts, outside Telebutikken Galleriet (here in Bergen), walked out with a shiny new white iPhone at 13:00. Lots of people in the line behind me...few phones left (of the surprise second batch which saved the day for about half the line).

Exhausted, but happy... ;)

Got at mine at 8 pm and I was #2 at my AT&T store. #1 in our line was there at 4 am Thursday morning. We were cheered out of AT&T.

got in line about 6:15am and there were about 200 people in front of me. i was not expecting that many people there and about another 200 people showed up after we did! it was crazy to see so many people at my local apple store! got mine and it was fun!!!!

1st to start a line @ 3:45am at the Apple store in Flatirons Crossing Mall in Broomfield Colorado. Had a group of 10 by 6am and then there were probably close to 150 and growing at 8am.

Bought a 16gb white which took 25 minutes even though I was first through the door and iTunes was down so had to take it home to finish activation. Due to the iTunes shutdown I was not able to activate the phone until 1:30pm.

Just an update for those who care, I finally got activated about an hour after I posted here. For those still trying, just be persistent. Eventually you'll get that text message and rejoice

Arrived at the ATT store at 9:40pm and watched House M.D. until about midnight, when someone else finally came. Hopped into line at the #1 spot. It was only the two of us until 3am, when 2 more joined in. and then we got about 2 more people every hour until the line exploded at around 6am. Got activated and out the door in less than 15 min

Ventura, CA - ATT

Last night I was considering leaving home at 4:30am, but decided to leave at 4am instead. When I got in line there were about 15 buyers in front of me. By 6am the line had doubled and by 8am they were turning people away. The manager informed us they had 60 phones (20 16g Black, 20 16g White and 20 8g). At 8am I was 19th in line because of a few d-bags who apparently thought it was cool to save spots for friends and relatives so they could show up at the last minute and not pay their dues by waiting in line. That made a lot of people angry.

Left at 2:30AM, ended up 6th in line. Around 8AM there were around 100 people in line. I was in the first group that got to go in.

i got in line at about 9:30 and didn't leave the store with my iPhone till just about 2 PM. There were still easily 100 people behind me and there were about 300 in line when I entered it.

Because of the near 100 degree temps, they crammed as many people as they could in the store winding everyone up and down aisles several times.

Longest I ever waited to buy something.

Los Angeles AT&T store:
midnight: 3 people in line
2am: 6 people in line
5am: 12 people in line
6am: 50+ people in line
7am: 100+ people in line
8am: 150+ people in line
This is based on rough estimates.

Hmmmm

Camped out with a friend of mine, I got there at 10 AM on July 10th. He got there at 9 PM on TUESDAY night....something fun to do

I got to my local AT&T store at like 3AM and was number 13. By the time the store opened at 8 the line was about 120 people deep and there were only 60 phones. I got my Black 16 gig so I'm good.
