I live in California...so it's valid here.

Well still, your point is that unless you have a binding legal contract with the person you have sex with then you're committing adultery? Does that mean for the thousands of years before the idea of marriage popped up that everyone was cheating on everyone?

EDIT: plus, where I live it isn't legal to get married. So for me you have no point. So with your logic I'm not committing adultery. Why do I get to be an exception and everyone else is a sinner?

Underage sex, incest, bestiality, pederasty, threesomes, orgies, homosexuality, cross-dressing, masturbation, adultery and sex outside marriage have all been with us for ever.
And the Internet is making it easier to see. :)

Fifty years ago, if some young lad or laddet wanted to see a smut film, they had to go to one of those places that sold the stuff.

Now days, the individual can just surf the net to find whatever they are interest in or curious about in the privacy of their home.

I don't mean to sound harsh, but you really need to work on your english sentence structure. For many of the sentences that you write I can't even figure out what you're talking about. No offense intended.
Actually, for what it's worth, I understood that sentence perfectly.

Realistically, how could we go about researching and concluding, in a concise and accurate way, what the percentages of heterogenous/monogamous/prudent/abstinence-based cultures populated the world in a given era? (Say, every 100 years since A.D. began.) This would help us to plot changes in cultural values, which would then allow us to draw conclusions about changes in the last century (or half-century); once we have this, we would at least be able to make specious assumptions about societal/cultural/biological changes relating to our values' changes, if any.

But the responses in this thread just make such assumptions based on their personal bias or little bits of knowledge heard from other people or other books rather than actual historical examination and run wild with it. I can think of several times in history while humans flourished when we did not obey arbitrary rules of how to engage in sexual relations set forth by others, and when monogamy was not the norm. Even so, you have to put history in perspective as well--many idealistic societies did not express their breaks from monogamy/ideals/prudent values in writing or other media to the same extent that those breaks occurred. We'll never know how morally "clean" was the Victorian era, and for that matter, I'll never know the truth about these so-called-1950's-values that people yearn for today.

It would sure surprise me. Have you ever met an 8-year-old who knew the slightest bit about sex, except what strange notions they had picked up from their friends and maybe something they saw by accident in their home?

Agreed. When I was 8, probably up until I was 10ish, boys were gross and disgusting and not to be touched. Ever.

After 10-11 we gradually relaxed our view on boys. Turns out they weren't that bad after all hehe ;)

Agreed. I didn't know anything about sex, or even females (I had some ridiculous ideas too, now that I think about it). Plus, no eight year old even thinks about sex that much, even if they knew what it is.

It's nearly quarter-to-eight now, isn't she done yet?

Haha, but to be serious that is one regard men should be jealous of. While women don't have the sex drives as men do, they can go on forever as long as they have the energy. We have to recuperate before going another round.:mad:

True, but who said women don't have the sex drive men do?

I started masturbating in the womb, by the way. Pictures of fetuses masturbating is a very interesting thing...

When I was 13, my only regrets are doing it year later than I actually wanted. If I had done it in timely fashion, then I could brag about having had an intercourse with a preteen. Now I can't. Bummer.

They don't? Craziest unsatisfyable sex-addicts I know are all females. You know, when people talk about number of partners men double the actual number and women halve it...

What, the entire population?

Not always true, some men don't need any recuperation time, I've known a couple in my time, plenty of women get sore once they've orgasmed to the point where they need to stop too.

Honestly what is with you and these weird threads:confused:

Why do you care:confused:

How does a complete stranger's sex life concern you:confused:

Just saying:rolleyes:
