Well, if I switched from anything it would have been from not using computers to using them. But as for the topic, I started using Macs in the pre-7 era. And I wasn't 100% sold on System 7, so when I got my first Mac (a Macintosh SE 4/40) I made sure it could dual boot System 7.0.1 and System 6.0.8. About a year later when I got my second Mac (a Macintosh SE/30 8/80), it was 7.0.1 only and stayed my main system until 1997 when I got my third Mac (PowerBook Duo 230 12/120) which was running System 7.1.

I used a Power Macintosh 4400/200 running 7.5.x (can't remember much) and used that for a while (use as in Lode Runner only :p), then another Mac I can't recall which one is it  After that my mom made us all switch to Guindouze XP and we used that for a while  then two years ago I had a Mac again, my sweet 12" PB (read sig) and then a year later got my blackbook; I managed to switch my whole house to Mac only within the last year, with a white c2d iMac for the house and another blackbook for my mom and sister whenever portability is needed. I feel proud, I've made several people switch to Mac :p

I had(still have) a Mac SE FDHD with something like 4mb of ram and a 40mb HD. I remember system 6.7.5 or 6.8 being on it. That was like, I don't know...'89?

We have a mac since OS 8.6, as child i played alot on it, educational games... then because my parents always got pc's from their work, we always worked on those. Then in 2006 i took the step to buy one with my parents for me. Then my parents saw how great it was, but still had a pc. then the pc got very bad, lot's of viruses, taking 15 min to start the computer. Only able to run 1 app otherwise it would crash. Then they also got a Mac, and we also now are completely in the ipod thing.. I got an ipod nano, dad has got a touch, sister a shuffle..

i swiched in july 07 after crashing my laptop to the point of no return ( i gave it to my at the time girlfriend lol)
