When do you plan on getting the iPhone 3G?

I'm gonna try on the 11th. I have 2 apple stores and 11 at&t stores within 10miles, not willing to camp out but will have plenty of places to try the 1st day. If no luck i'll keep checking them over the weekend. Black 16g for me and 8g for my gf on our family plan.🙂

I have to wait till December 27th. Why? That is when my Verizon contract ends. As soon as that magical day arrives, my wife and I are getting iPhones. Cannot wait!

When? In a year at the soonest. I like to get good wear out of my current one first, since I'm happy with it.

I wonder if they'll have released the 3rd generation by then... if they have I'll just buy that 🙂

I'm trying to resist getting up darn early and being at the London Apple store for the 7.20 am open. Is anyone else thinking about v1's screen bugs in the first batch? Is it likely to see the same thing this time round?

I will probably get one on July 11...The plan is to give my current Iphone to my 10 year old and my wife already has one...thinking about the white...Kinda have to have the latest and greatest.

Still would like to see some more features.......

I think Im going to keep my current iPhone until i get more info on pricing, activation policy, etc...

The increased data rate may be inline with other PDA devices but they should include the sms just like for the current version. The increase would mean that the data price is just about how COX charges for high speed internet at home.

The question is, When and where does it stop?

I was one of the few that said for Christmas, but if there was an option to say 'when my existing contract runs out' I'd have opted for that, but that's not until the end of November.
