That has to be the stupidest question i hear on this site time and time again "why did you buy a macbook pro?" like you have to be some kind of god to own one. Me personally i have 2 mbps one 15" previous gen and 17" uni. And i i dont use them for sh!$ but web related activites. I use my imac for all the "pro" activies such as pro tools and photoshop. I think only people who struggled to buy a mbp for their jobs or something are the only people who ask that dumb a$$ question mad because someone who dosent "need" one can just go get one on the humble. So please just stop hateing you got your mbp for you reasons and other people got them for theirs. I got mines becase I LIKE THE BEST SH&!

Is there a difference between MB and MBA? (lcd panel)

Yes. The panel in the Air is similar in quality to the one in the Pro. It's got a plastic front and not glass, though. I think this helps to make it less glare-prone, but more susceptible to scratches.

Next time you're in an Apple Store compare the displays on the Air and the MB. Viewing angle alone is a huge difference.

There's a rev a & b MBA?

The Rev B can do a lot more then what you might think.

I was able to use Rev A as a primary machine with Virtual Machines as my main line of work.

Didn't know there were revisions? Are you referring to the MBA within the past year?

Should i use 9600m when using an external display? Im using 1900x1080 on the external.

Or it doesnt matter?

I've used mine once or twice just to make sure it works but otherwise I just use the 9400. I think I get slightly better preview times in LR with the faster card but I spend so little time in LR I don't switch......

Wow, Mr. Thin Skin, how is that harsh? He simply asked why the OP bought an MBP. A fair and valid question, to determine his intended usage. You must be one of those "easily offended" types. Go have a beer and relax my friend, it seems like you need it.

A Grolsch for me Sir! Seriously, there is still this perception that you can only have a mac pro or macbook pro if you are a professional designer/artist/etc. In my local Apple store I saw some students discussing that it was an outrage that a professional looking gentleman bought a top range apple mac pro just for home use. i had to chuckle though...

I'm thankful for the 9600GT. I can't really notice much of a difference in Photoshop, but when I'm working with 1GB files in Illustrator, I certainly can.
